Susan Haley, LMTSusan has been a licensed massage therapist since 2009. She is pleased to offer Massage Therapy, Aromatherapy and Reflexology here at Bradenton East Integrative Medicine.

She offers three types of massage:

  1. Relaxation Massage calms the mind, renews the spirit through gentle touch in flowing strokes that release tension and increase blood and lymph circulation. This includes aromatherapy to relax and renew you, involves medium to light pressure and warm flaxseed body pillows to release muscle tension.
  2. Deep Tissue Massage therapeutic treatment that is aimed at deeper tissue and releasing tension in the structure of the muscle and connective tissue. This medium to firm pressure treatment focuses on problematic joint and muscle areas.
  3. Sports Massage / Range of Motion focuses on repetitive use syndrome and improves range of motion by incorporating massage and stretching. Loose or sports clothing is worn during this treatment.

Susan also offers Reflexology, a holistic treatment also known as zone therapy, that is an alternative medical practice involving the application of pressure to specific points on the feet and hands. This is done using specific thumb, finger, and hand massage techniques without the use of oil or lotion. The areas of the foot or hands correspond to organs and systems of the body.

Reflexology is generally intended to reduce stress and can be a complementary treatment for neuropathy of the legs, feet and toes.
