Dr. Galimidi is a licensed Podiatrist, foot and ankle surgeon with 12 years of experience treating a wide variety of foot-and ankle-related maladies.
She graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree from Barry University in Miami, Florida in 1996. She went on to Barry University College of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida and graduated in 2000. She completed her Podiatric Surgical Residency and was Chief Resident at Jackson Memorial North( Parkway Memorial Hospital) from 2001 to 2002.
She continues to exceed the requirements for continuing education through annual attendance at the Podiatry Institute with coursework in Biomechanics & Sports Medicine, Surgery & Surgical Complications & Advanced Techniques for Treating Heel Pain.
She is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Florida Podiatric Association.
Dr. Galimidi is dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of foot disorders resulting from injury or disease. She knows the human foot has a complex interrelation with the rest of the body which means that it may be the first area to show signs of serious conditions such as diabetes and / or cardiovascular disease. Since the podiatric physician is often the first to detect symptoms of these disorders, she becomes a vital and sometimes lifesaving link in your health care team.
