Chuck Dugan, APRN, FNP-C, CEN, TCRN is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Chuck DuganChuck Dugan is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) who graduated from Chamberlain University in 2017, and brings over 25 years of healthcare experience to the practice. In addition to being board certified in family medicine, he still maintains board certifications in emergency and trauma care as well.

Chuck began his career as a US Navy Hospital Corpsman in the early 1990s, and after discharge began working as a paramedic. From there he transitioned into nursing, with a focus on emergency and trauma care.

When not working in the hospital or clinic setting, Chuck has also served as an international flight nurse, educator, and disaster response volunteer.

With a focus on patient and family centered care, Chuck is focused on meeting individual health needs that are consistent with each patient’s preferences, needs, culture, and desired quality of life.

He believes in working with patients on their personal health journey to achieve sustainable health and wellness through shared decision making. Chuck is well adept at managing chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiac disease, men’s health, and behavioral health concerns. With his ER background, Chuck is also available for same day, urgent care needs such as coughs/colds, abdominal pain, minor injury management, minor dermatologic procedures, and some joint injections…among others.

Chuck was raised in Denver, Colorado, but has lived all over the United States. He has been in Florida for 10 years and is enjoying his new home in Parrish.  In his spare time, Chuck enjoys bowling, bike riding, movies, reading, the beaches, and amusement parks.
