Camille Kasten, MSN, APRN, FNP-c is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in nursing.
She graduated from South University in Georgia with her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2015. She is a lifelong student and thrives on locating the best evidence-based
treatments to ensure her patients have the most options for the best health outcomes.
Current chronic disease processes are her forte; however, primary prevention is her passion. Her determination to come to the root cause of the patient’s disruption or decline in their ability to function as they once had has always been of vast importance when practicing medicine.
Her first “love” in healthcare was as an RN in the Emergency Department in 2001. She was selected to participate in the GWAC Critical Care Consortium in the greater D.C. Metropolitan area where her cardiac and emergency skills were grounded into her daily practice and assessment skills.
She moved to Florida in 2007 where she worked as an RN in Labor and Delivery at Desoto Memorial Hospital in Arcadia, Florida making sure the women and babies always received quality, compassionate care until 2015.
After receiving her Masters of Science in Nursing she worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Arcadia, Bradenton, and Sarasota incorporating a whole of Body approach into her practice.
In her spare time, she enjoys her 3 children, all girls. 2 grandbabies, one of which is a boy thank goodness! She is a MIMI and loving life!
